Guest Post - Cosatto Giggle

 This Guest Post comes to you from Emmy's (and now Harry's) Mummy and their thoughts on the Cosatto Giggle.

Cosatto are renowned for having colourful designed Nursery products, gone are the days of boring one colour designs with a Brand such as Cosatto each product is given it's own personality and that even extends to the box too.

I also received a separate box containing the 'Treet' car seat which is available to buy separately and the car seat adaptors.

Setting it up:
Setting up this buggy is very easy - the single wheels are for the back and just slot and click into place and the double goes on the front also easily clicking into place.

To unfold the chassis you need to unclasp the clip on the side, pull up the handle and press your foot on the brake bar and it unfolds very easily and quickly.

Folding it up again is just as easy - push in the safety button on the the right and pull the levers towards you. The chassis then folds at the front and the handle drops downwards. You can then fold the handle inwards to make it even smaller.

The Giggle 'Treet' has a lightweight aluminium chassis (6.1 kg) with matching Green accents to the frame which matches perfectly to the colour fabric of the seat unit, carrycot and car seat.

The Carrycot and Seat Unit clip straight onto the frame quite easily and are removed by pressing in the small buttons on the side, this is a little difficult to do as the buttons are quite small however with practise it becomes easier. The seat unit can be both parent and forward facing.

The brake is flip flop friendly and extremely easy to use and very effective.

Other features include: Compact fold, quick release removable wheels, lockable front wheels, adjustable handle height, carry handle on the carrycot with a gate opening mechanism, removable liner in the carrycot, firm mattress allowing use as an overnight sleeper if needed and a weather apron. The seat unit has 3 recline positions, a removable bumper bar and toy loops in the hood, it also has pockets in the back for keys, phone or a snack if needed. Free 4 year guarantee.

The footmuff/liner is 4 way reversible meaning you can easily change the look of this pushchair with great ease.

The car seat is available separately and needs the adaptors to be able to use it and needs to be the Cosatto car set as at present it is the only car seat which is compatible with this pushchair.

A great feature with the seat unit are the buckles, it is a standard 5 point harness however it closes seperately one side at a time - great for when using with struggling children.

Overall, it is a good travel system (if brought together with the car seat), the carrycot is very padded and roomy however due to all the padding a large baby will outgrow it quickly and the hard suspension of the wheels means it is a ridged ride.

The seat unit is on the small side and a large toddler will outgrow this quickly, definately not one to last much past 2.5 years if your child is on the bigger side.

It is easy to fold and equally as easy to put back up again.
